1. Data controller
The data controller is Sedimentary Srl, registered office at Via del Brennero 322, 38121 Trento (TN), Italia (VAT 02829860226).
For any request regarding your personal data, write to info@sedimentary.it.
2. Data we collect
When you use the contact form we collect the data you voluntarily provide: name, company (optional), email address and the content of your message.
If you book a consultation through our online calendar (Google Calendar, a service of Google Ireland Limited), the data you enter in the booking service (e.g. name, email, chosen date and time) is collected by that service on our behalf and used only to arrange the meeting.
Our hosting provider may automatically record technical data (e.g. IP address, browser type, date and time) in server logs for security and operational purposes.
3. How the contact form works
The form does not send data to a server of ours: it prepares an email that opens in your own mail program. Sending therefore happens through your email provider and under your control.
We only receive your data once you actually choose to send the email.
4. Purpose and legal basis
We process your data to respond to your enquiries and to follow up on any pre-contractual or contractual relationship.
The legal basis is your consent (Art. 6.1.a GDPR) and/or the performance of pre-contractual measures requested by you (Art. 6.1.b GDPR).
5. Data retention
We keep the data for as long as necessary to handle your request and to comply with legal obligations. After that period the data is deleted or anonymised.
6. Recipients
Data is processed by authorised staff of Sedimentary Srl. It may also be processed by service providers (e.g. hosting, email, appointment booking) appointed as data processors under Art. 28 GDPR. We do not sell your data to third parties.
7. Transfers outside the EU
Data is processed within the European Union. Where a provider processes data outside the EU/EEA, this is done in compliance with the safeguards required by the GDPR (e.g. standard contractual clauses or adequacy decisions).
8. Your rights
You have the right to access, rectify and erase your data, to restrict and object to its processing, and to request its portability (Arts. 15-22 GDPR). You may also withdraw your consent at any time.
To exercise your rights, write to info@sedimentary.it.
9. Complaint to the supervisory authority
You have the right to lodge a complaint with the Italian Data Protection Authority (Garante per la protezione dei dati personali, www.garanteprivacy.it) if you believe the processing of your data infringes applicable law.
